The tall buildings stretching along the district's main avenue with shops and studios on the ground floor and flats for the owners and their families on the upper floors are reminiscent of the Royal Tract and shopping districts. The dragon glanced above the buildings to make sure he could see the brick chimneys protruding from above them, but still, there was something different about this one than in Dagos. There were steel or brass structures on top of tall structures, with individual plumes of almost transparent smoke rising from them. So these must be magical catalysts clearing the smoke of impurities. He recalled one of his lectures on new discoveries and applications of alchemy in heavy industry. If I remember correctly this was introduced by the dwarves in Abbis and from there it started to be adapted.
