I only felt his claws piercing my wing membrane and the excruciating pain as he yanked down, tearing it apart.- His stomach churned at the mere memory. He had never felt anything so shocking before or since. - The bastard even had the audacity to whisper, ‘Let's see how fast you can fly now.’ And they walked away laughing.
