‘Frank Kerling,’ the redhead replied helpfully. ‘Knowing him, you’ll be hearing about him more than once, and not once will it be anything positive.’
‘Very helpful,’ muttered the dragon, having little understanding of the Atlantean aristocracy. ‘You’ve really been a help.’
‘It’s nothing special,’ Aiden retorted somewhat sharply. ‘If you picture a stereotypical school bully, that’s exactly what he’s like.’
‘So I need to keep my distance from him,’ muttered the dragon, stopping himself from saying everything he was thinking.
‘Good idea,’ said Aiden, stopping in front of one of the doors. ‘It’s great that we’ve got training together, but I’ve got to go. I need to get ready before it starts.’ And he quickly disappeared inside.
‘Our changing room’s a bit further on.’ Cedric gave the dragon a strange look. It was hard to tell what he was getting at, so Draco didn’t even try. ‘There’s no time for chit-chat. Hurry up,’ he added when he noticed the dragon was already taking a breath, getting ready to speak.
Their changing room was at the very end of the underground corridor. Even when young Retfiel opened the door, he didn’t say a word.
Well, all that’s left is to meet the rest of the team and hope they’re a bit more talkative, Draco thought to himself before stepping inside.
